Finals Week Is Here!

Wow, i can't believe how fast the semester has gone, but aren't those of us in school so glad! Brett has been busy busy busy studying for his 5 compressive finals he has this week. Me, I got lucky and only have 3! I wish luck to everyone that will be taking their finals in the next couple of weeks and if you get too stressed out, call me, I'll bring you some cookies! Finals can be a very hard time, all the stress, homework, big projects, and of course the tests that have come with it! But with a great ward, great friends and the greatest families we have to support us, we are doing great! Last week, the Alumni club I'm in, did Final Survival Packets. Some things we put in it were: a capri sun drink, chips, candy bar, fruit snack, roman noodles, popcorn, air heads, ext...and then scan trons. It was fun to deliver them to those who's parents sent them, their faces were always so happy to see all the free food, plus a little note from their parents. Brett's mom actually got both of us one! We really appreciated it and loved it, Thanks Mom LeMmon!
Since it's been so long since I've posted something, here are some pictures of us this busy semester we've had!

Here is a picture of me and my friends at Lacey Essig's farewell, We love you Lacey!

Here is our first spider in our apartment, Huge huh? We always seem to find big bugs, guess it comes with the pest control. Here is Brett in Moab, with the EcoFirst guys! He had a lot of fun, biking, jeeping and swimming.

I also couldn't forget our Halloween! A little late i know, but i just had to show. Brett's PBL club dressed up like Kiss for the Homecoming Parade. Then for Halloween we dressed up like Hippies, i think we pulled it off pretty good! :) We loved dressing up and having fun at all the parties that happened that night.
These wild turkey's stopped Brett and I on our way home from Elsinore one weekend, it was quite a sight!

Brett and I are happy as ever and excited to have a Christmas Break and not worry about homework and school for a little while! Hopefully i can keep up on this blog a little more! We love you all!

Sedona Arizona

Last Sunday Brett and I toke a little trip up to Sedona Arizona. It was just us and we had a great time! We first visited the city and then toke a big Hike, 4 miles in the blazing hot sun! On the way we toke some interesting pictures of bugs we found on the way. This one in particular was something i have never seen before! Any one know what kind of a bug this is?!? It was white fluffy, and just something I've never seen! Let me know what you find out.

This is an ant hill, they were everywhere!

It was so Beautiful!

We can't wait to get back to Utah and see the family! We love you guys and see you this weekend!!! :)

Everyone's leaving.... :(

Here's some fun memories we've had these last couple of weeks while person after person leaves our office.

This is a picture of the men in our office and the girls in their life. We got dinner at a place called Dave & Busters, basically a Chuck E Cheeses for Adults. There are other picture of us playing the games on Facebook. It was so much fun!
Talia, Talia is my office buddy! We spent days, weeks and months together in our office working hard of course, oh and watching our favorite shows: The Bachelorette, Bones, Reba, ex.. We had a great time, and we hope to see Talia and Tyler in California someday!!

Talia, Tyler, Brett, Natalie. Love these guys!

Another meal on the office, we get one at least every two weeks it seems like! We went to Denny's this time, 8:30 in the morning. I felt pretty special being the only girl :)

We're going to miss the EcoFirst Arizona Office, it's been a great summer that for sure!!

Not so fun weekend...

Yes, i am alive everyone. I never saw this sickness coming. Thursday and Friday the right side of my stomach started hurting, like a stabbing pain, i thought it would go away but then i starting getting a fever pretty high. I didn't want to go to the doctors, first i was freaked out, i have never been before! Second i thought it would just go away...but i didn't exactly get my way.
Brett came home early Saturday from work and we called our bishop to see where he thought we should go, of course he was concerned and wanted us to call him every step of the way. We arrived at the Scottsdale hospital about 2:30, after filling out all the papers we needed too we sat in the waiting room for about 20 mins. It seemed longer to me, but once we got in, i changed into those hospital gowns and then they started hooking me up to all these IVs and taking my blood. I know a lot of you know how well i do with people drawing my blood and sticking needles in me...not well at all. Their first action was to try and get my fever down, it was to about 104, 105 when we got there. Once they got it down, they did a cat scan of me, which was actually really interesting! Then we went back to get the bad news from the doctor. I have an infection in my kidney, which will take a while to treated. We did get to go home that night, about 7:30 after they thought i was stable and my fever had gone down a lot, but we were at the hospital for a while. I'm glad it wasn't my appendix, sorry for lance and dad who had one. Here is a picture of me in the hospital

Anyways I'm slowly getting better, and will hopefully be ready to run by Thursday! They have me on 3 different pills one i take once a day, one i take twice a day, and one i take 3 times a day, which all make me very dizzy...I don't know how people can go to the hospital every day....i think i would die. Thanks for the support you guys are to Brett and I, we appreciate it.

4th of July Weekend

Hey Everyone, so I'm a little slow on getting the 4th of July weekend posted, due to having no Internet again, work, and well this weekend of course. But we had a great 4th of July, started out with a MC Hammer concert. For any of you who know who he is, he is great! His popular songs are "You can't touch this" " Too legit" Okay those are pretty much the only ones i knew. It was in the middle of nowhere land in Scottsdale AZ, at a Casino. Our manager Kyle, had sold him pest control and then talked to his wife to hook us up with an awesome deal! We got to go on stage with him and dance to the song "You can't touch this" Here is a video, sorry i was the shortest one there hard to get my arm past every one's head. He is the one with the band on his head, and Brett's the one in the white shirt at the end! :)

Here's a picture with Savannah, Trent, and Brett with MC Hammer and his body guard, scary!

Here is a picture of everyone in the office of EcoFirst that went with us to the concert, and pretty much everyone that is left working here too. In one of the songs they handed almost every girl a red rose, something about how pretty we are, just like a red rose :) just kidding but it was pretty sweet of them, that's why us girls have them.
This is Tyler, Brett loves this guy. He is married to Talia, the girl i work with. They are great friends and a great couple. I got a picture with the backup dancers, pretty hot huh? lol maybe...

Anyways it ended with some fireworks and then we were on our way home from a fun time!

Sunday we went to fireworks by the lake. We had Josh and Savannah come with us, who are the other couple in our office. It was so awesome and we got some great seats. The grand finale was amazing, probably the most colorful one I've ever have seen. Happy 4th of July!

Hey Everyone, not a whole changes around here. Actually we pretty much do the same thing every day, wake up, eat, get ready and off to work Brett goes, i stay home by my self going to the pool, working out, the usual, then i go to work! But i thought you might like to see some pictures of the guys we work with and just fun pictures we've taken the past few weeks!

Sorry it's kinda blurry, this was at a girl, that use to work with us, house. It was big with a pool and hot tub, of course like every house down here! We got at least 30 boxes of pizza and watched the Lakers Vs. Sun NBA game. It was a lot of fun! These are some of the guys we work with, unfortunately that's the only picture we got before my camera went dead...

We found this cactus at the State Capitol, we just had to get a picture, Look! It's saying Hello from Arizona!

Dinner at Outback Steak House, on the company! The catch? Well Brett basically had to work exactly 10/11 hour day every day that week! Start at 8:30, an hour into lunch, and work until 9:00! Crazy dude, but he did it! I'm so proud of him, he's doing so good in his sales! He is actually the 4th top sales rep in our office, soon to be 1st of course! :)

This was a "work meeting" this is actually the second day that Kyle, the team leader, said that the morning meet was going to be at the pool so they can fix their tan lines. So you can see that Brett has gotten a pretty bad one, not a great pic but man i can't wait for you to see him when we get back to Utah!

I love it! Well Happy 4th of July Everyone, i hope yours is going to be just as good as ours!

Fun In The Sun

This Sunday ended up being the Sunday to relax and explore Arizona a bit more then we have! We got to first enjoy the Gila Valley Temple dedication, it was such a blessing to be apart of something so special and sacred. We both enjoyed it and to celebrate we thought i would be perfect to go to a temple. The closest temple to us is the Mesa Arizona temple. It toke us about 15 minutes to get there and it was a wonderful afternoon. Here are some pictures! The Mesa Temple doesn't have an Angle Moroni on it, i had never seen a temple like that before so that was kinda exciting to see. It looks a lot like Solomon's temple or something like it. This was crazy! We found orange trees (even though they aren't orange) and grapefruit trees on the temple grounds, they were everywhere! I have never seen an orange tree before, it was awesome!

Oh by the way, we got hair cuts like the 3rd day we moved down here, my hair is so short! But i absolutely love it!

After we toured the whole temple grounds, we went to ASU and climbed the mountain that has their "A" on it. It was steep and high, but we made it to the top and laid on the rocks to watch the airplanes fly right past our head. The Phoenix airport is right by us, there are planes contently coming and going and very low to the ground. It was so entertaining!

We found our house while on the top of the mountain! This is our city, Tempe Arizona! We sure miss you all, but we are loving it here in the sun and having our own adventure!

I'll get the hang of this soon!

So I've tried the past couple of days to try and get this blog posting to work, but right when I'm almost done, our Internet goes out and i can't get it to save...lets just hope it works this time! :) Last Sunday was going to be our first real day of going out and having fun, with out having to worry about our car, our apartment, and work! Then our car died but we got it towed and fixed with a new starter soon enough. Thankfully we still had my warranty or it would have cost us a lot of money that we don't have! Here are some pictures of Brett checking it out.We have many people to thank for helping us and glad we got it all figured out, Not to mention a great way to start off our 3rd week of marriage!
