Fun In The Sun

This Sunday ended up being the Sunday to relax and explore Arizona a bit more then we have! We got to first enjoy the Gila Valley Temple dedication, it was such a blessing to be apart of something so special and sacred. We both enjoyed it and to celebrate we thought i would be perfect to go to a temple. The closest temple to us is the Mesa Arizona temple. It toke us about 15 minutes to get there and it was a wonderful afternoon. Here are some pictures! The Mesa Temple doesn't have an Angle Moroni on it, i had never seen a temple like that before so that was kinda exciting to see. It looks a lot like Solomon's temple or something like it. This was crazy! We found orange trees (even though they aren't orange) and grapefruit trees on the temple grounds, they were everywhere! I have never seen an orange tree before, it was awesome!

Oh by the way, we got hair cuts like the 3rd day we moved down here, my hair is so short! But i absolutely love it!

After we toured the whole temple grounds, we went to ASU and climbed the mountain that has their "A" on it. It was steep and high, but we made it to the top and laid on the rocks to watch the airplanes fly right past our head. The Phoenix airport is right by us, there are planes contently coming and going and very low to the ground. It was so entertaining!

We found our house while on the top of the mountain! This is our city, Tempe Arizona! We sure miss you all, but we are loving it here in the sun and having our own adventure!

I'll get the hang of this soon!

So I've tried the past couple of days to try and get this blog posting to work, but right when I'm almost done, our Internet goes out and i can't get it to save...lets just hope it works this time! :) Last Sunday was going to be our first real day of going out and having fun, with out having to worry about our car, our apartment, and work! Then our car died but we got it towed and fixed with a new starter soon enough. Thankfully we still had my warranty or it would have cost us a lot of money that we don't have! Here are some pictures of Brett checking it out.We have many people to thank for helping us and glad we got it all figured out, Not to mention a great way to start off our 3rd week of marriage!

Hey, this is my first posting and I'm doing it on our new apartment here in Arizona so you can kinda see what our new home looks like and such! It's really nice and we like it a lot now that there is furniture in it. We haven't meet any of our neighbors really yet, mostly because they are all ASU college students who drink and party all the time, and Brett and I really aren't home a lot. We've got 2 pools, and 2 volleyball courts next to us and our very own parking spot! Just thought i would let you look at what we are doing down here in Arizona in the almost 90 degree weather, don't worry i know that won't be the hottest it will get down here.

This is our walk-in closet, it big and spacious which we love!

This is right in our living room, we have a porch over looking a bunch of other apartments and the volleyball court. It also has a nice big storage closet.

Here is our kitchen, it's got a sink, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a fridge, and a big storage closet. Our washer and dryer is also in the closet on the left side. Not a bad kitchen!
This is where we eat, our dinning room! Its a nice table and nice lamp above it. Our front door is right off too the left there.

And here is our Bedroom, i love our quilt and we bought some nice brown sheets to match!
