Ensenada Cruise 2012

This last weekend Brett and I had the opportunity to go on a Carnival Cruise with EcoFirst, the company Brett works for during the summers. They invited all those that sold at least 200 this last summer and those that signed up for next summer to come. We don't know if we will be doing it this year but we signed up as a back up plan! About 35 employees ended up coming, most of them we didn't know, but we had a blast getting to know them.

We left Friday morning about 5:00 to drive to Long Beach, California. Just as we were approaching the last exit in St. George, Brett realized he hadn't grabbed his passport. Oh shoot! We turned around and drove all the way back to Cedar, found the passport and then back on the road again for a 7 hour drive that actually turned into a 9 hour drive all together! We arrived in Long Beach and found this on the port....Our Cruise Ship! Carnival Inspiration was the cruise line that we went on. That day we mostly just walked around and got to know the boat, ate some all you can eat food and meet those that came with the EcoFirst group.
Here are some other pictures of the cruise ship:
A mini golf course, we spent a lot of time up on this deck!
This is the water slide on the ship, too bad it was a bit too cold to go down it!
A shot from the top of the ship looking down on to the main deck and pool!
Saturday we made it to Ensenada, Mexico and was able to get off the boat to explore. Us and half the group of EcoFirst guys all rented four wheelers. We had some of the guys that owned the four wheelers show us around the city and take us to the Mexican shops.
This is a mountain road that was right by the ocean, beautiful view!
After the drive and the shops we went to sand dunes on the beach. Here is Brett jumping and then me down below. I honestly think i got way more air then Brett did! We also made it to the famous "Blow Hole" Look it up on Google if you don't know what it is, it's kinda hard to explain.
Saturday night was the formal dinner, where everyone has to dress up in order to get dinner. We got a great picture of us all after dinner, don't we look nice? Brett and i are in the middle, towards the top if you couldn't find us!Every night we also got different animals made out of towels like a sting ray, a walrus, and as you can see an elephant. We were always so excited to see what was going to be on our bed when we would walk in at night.
Sunday, we headed back to Long Beach, very very slowly... we enjoyed the plays, games, ice cream and karaoke that night. We had so much fun, and i would encourage all of you if you have the chance to go on a cruise, do it!
